This was a 2nd year university project. The brief was to create short blipverts for a band of our own choice and to capture the mood of the tunes. This is meant as an album promotion that would appear on TV among adverts, that's why they last only a few seconds each. My band of choice was The Last Shadow Puppets. I portrayed the vintage vibes, orchestral strength and it's dramatic lyrics through montage of filmed shots that were later on heavily overlayed and colour graded into very vivid shades in Premiere Pro. Some textures were added too to enhance the retro aspect. Each of the blipvert concepts were created to suit and express the story of the song; both through narrative hints and visual representation.
